What Odyssey is, and how it differs from Club de Nuit
Club de Nuit is built around recognisable designer references and sold on projection. Odyssey is looser. It is closer to a collection of ideas than a family with one shared signature, and its centre of gravity is bright, fruity and easy rather than smoky and assertive. Where a Club de Nuit bottle is often bought because it resembles something expensive, an Odyssey bottle tends to be bought because someone smelled it and liked it.
That difference matters for expectations. Odyssey does not project like Intense Man. Most of it sits at moderate strength with six to eight hours on skin, and the ones that go louder do it through sweetness rather than smoke.
The naming problem, stated plainly
Vintage Edition, Elixir, Mountain Edition, The Red Edition, Revolution Ultra. None of these words carries a consistent meaning across the line. Elixir does not reliably mean a higher concentration. Vintage does not mean an older formula. Edition names in this range are packaging decisions, and treating them as technical information is the fastest way to buy the wrong bottle at the wrong price.

The one that built the line's name and still the correct starting point. Bright mandarin and fruit over a sweet, slightly musky base, with the polished quality that gets it compared to far more expensive fruity fragrances. 2. Odyssey Dubai Chocolat
The most distinctive thing here by a distance. Odyssey Dubai Chocolat, the gourmand edition, is a proper cocoa-led gourmand at £37.15 and it does not smell like anything else in the line. It is also the most situational: wrong for a warm office, excellent on a cold night out.
3. Odyssey Eau de Montagne
Odyssey Eau de Montagne, the mountain edition, at £39.99 is the fresh green option and the most restrained thing in the line. It is the one an Odyssey buyer who dislikes sweetness should look at first. The price is the sticking point; it is the joint most expensive bottle here.
4. Odyssey Mandarin Sky Elixir Limited Edition
A deeper, warmer reading of Mandarin Sky at £34.99. Worth it if you already know you like the original and want a version with more weight for cooler evenings. 5. Odyssey Mega Man
Odyssey Mega Man in 200ml at £36.00 is the volume play: £1.80 per 10ml, which is the cheapest per millilitre in the line. If it suits you it is superb value. The catch is that 200ml is a great deal of fragrance to own if it does not.
6. Odyssey Revolution Ultra
At £24.99 the Revolution Ultra edition is the cheapest full-size entry after Mandarin Sky. It is a reasonable everyday bottle, and it is also the clearest example of the naming problem: nothing in the name tells you what you are getting, so this is one to smell before committing rather than order on the strength of the label.
7. Odyssey Artisto The Red Edition
Artisto The Red Edition at £39.99 sits at the top of the price band without the recognition of Mandarin Sky or the clear identity of Dubai Chocolat. It is a decent fragrance in a range where the cheapest bottle is the best one, which makes it difficult to recommend ahead of the alternatives.
8. Odyssey Mandarin Sky Vintage Edition
The Mandarin Sky Vintage Edition is £38.00 for 100ml, against £20.99 for the standard 100ml bottle. That is a large premium for a variation on a scent you can already have, and unless you specifically want this presentation, the maths does not work.
The women's outlier
Odyssey Femme White Edition at £26.00 is the line's main women's entry and sits apart from the ranking above. Cleaner and softer than the men's editions, and priced sensibly.

The 200ml Mandarin Sky is the quiet value winner among the four. It is not far off double the volume of the standard bottle for less than double the price, and unlike a 200ml of something polarising, this is a scent most people can wear through a whole summer without tiring of it.
What the line gets wrong
Price does not track quality. The £20.99 bottle is the best one. That is unusual, and it means the natural instinct to trade up will make your purchase worse rather than better.
Too many near-identical variations. Four Mandarin Sky products is at least one too many, and the pricing across them is inconsistent enough that a casual buyer can easily pay £38.00 for something available at £20.99 in a different box.
Sweetness is the house default. If you do not get on with sweet fruity fragrance, most of this range is closed to you, and the two exceptions sit at the top of the price band.
Performance is good, not exceptional. Odyssey does not throw like Club de Nuit Intense Man. Expect six to eight hours and moderate projection, and adjust your spray count upwards accordingly.
Where to start
Buy the standard 100ml Mandarin Sky. It is the cheapest bottle in the line, the most widely liked, and the one everything else here gets measured against. If you know you dislike sweet fruit, start with Eau de Montagne instead. If you want the one nobody else in the room is wearing, Dubai Chocolat.

Odyssey suits you if:
- You want bright, easy fragrance for British spring and summer.
- You like fruity scents and find Club de Nuit too smoky.
